Education in France is categorized into three different systems; the primary education, secondary education and the tertiary education. Most of the primary and secondary schools in France are composed of public institutions though there are a few exists private. While most of the tertiary institutions are both public and private; in France schools starts at the very early age of two or three and spend three years studying in kindergarten field of study. Education in France is highly strict that it is compulsory for them to start education until the age of 16. And in fact, children spent more hours of studying unlike in the other European countries. No wonder students and folks residing here are well educated and well mannered because they give more value to education.

France has a twofold system for higher education; Universities and Grandes Ecoles that requires harsh entry exam. Grandes Ecoles system of studies is mostly touches on the field of science and businesses. Studying in France is cool, since most of their institutions are free except for those private schools. Though French are not that standard in terms of their facilities unlike in the US but what they boast of is the way they teach and accommodate their students. The grading system in France is quite hard, especially for children most of the grades are being announced out loud in front on the class, which make every student to hardly study to get good grades in class. Unfortunately, schools in France don’t have many extra curricular activities, they focused more on schoolwork. Unlike in the other countries, France doesn’t have more budgets in any activities which are not related to their studies.

French students are also obliged to study Philosophy during their last year of high school. And math is also one of the major subjects they opt to study since France is known to have the people which are math intelligence; actually most of the students who have been contenders of math competition won prices from all over the globe. But how about this?, most of the French teachers did not stay long in their individual classrooms and they don’t even have an office hours with them, that lead the students to really craving hard to pass the subject. Mostly, the teachers just leave a seatwork for the students to fix with. Education system in France is quite challenging, so if you want something challenging which you think lead you to a better you don’t hesitate to come near in the country of France.
